Pre-event questionnaire for June 17th financial planning workshop
We’re very excited for Part II of our Financial Planning Workshop co-sponsored by SABAC and SABA-DC. We have a few questions we’d like you to answer so that we can cater the programming to fit your questions and needs.

Some of you have asked about resources we’ve used to educate ourselves about money. Here are some of the resources we’ve used:

1. I Will Teach You To Be Rich by Ramit Sethi – 2nd edition released in 2019, includes updates on tough conversations about money with your partner (this was the book featured in Amisha’s book club)

2. Your Money: the missing manual by J.D. Roth – a bit dated, but still a very useful primer on money issues

3. Motley Fool Answers Podcast – weekly podcast covering audience questions about money (probably worth a listen after you’ve learned basic concepts from the books above). If you’re interested in learning about investing, also check out The Motley Fool Guide to Investing For Beginners, which is linked for free on the Answers homepage.
