2019 11th Annual SABA-DC Public Interest Benefit Gala

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, the South Asian Bar Association of Washington, D.C. will host its 11th Annual Public Interest Benefit Gala. The Gala, taking place at the Mead Center for American Theater, will bring together attorneys and other professionals from other law firms, lobbying firms, corporations, government, academia, and nonprofit organizations from the D.C. metropolitan area to raise funds for SABA-DC and its worthwhile Public Interest initiatives.

Thanks to the generous support of law firm, corporate, and individual sponsors, SABA-DC has been able to provide necessary financial assistance to law students every year through the SABA-DC’s Public Interest Fellowship program. The Public Interest Fellowship program provides financial assistance in the form of summer fellowships to law students working at public interest organizations in the metropolitan D.C. area.

We expect this year’s turnout to be our largest yet!
