IRAP SIV and Humanitarian Pathway Training - Afghanistan

Wednesday, August 25, 2021 10:50 AM | SABA DC Communications (Administrator)

INTERNATIONAL REFUGEE ASSISTANCE PROJECT SIV AND HUMANITARIAN PATHWAY TRAINING - AFGHANISTAN

With the situation in Afghanistan continuing to deteriorate and at-risk Afghans evacuating or crossing land borders, the legal community is receiving a high volume of requests for assistance.

The International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) will be holding a training on Special Immigrant Visas and other humanitarian pathways that may be available for Afghans this Thursday (8/26) at 4pm-5:30pm EDT.

Please register by filling out this form

The training will be recorded and posted to IRAP’s website.

*Please note that although filing immigration forms will be helpful in preserving options for Afghan clients in the future, they should understand that filings now are not likely to result in their immediate evacuation. IRAP is pressing the U.S. government for the widest possible evacuation and wants to see as many people who face threats evacuated as possible.
