These events are not sponsored by SABA-DC, but they may be of interest to our members and our community.  Please submit requests for posting to sabadccommunications@gmail.com at least seven (7) days in advance of the event.  SABA-DC does not post Community Events that are political or partisan in nature.  All Community Events advertised must have a nexus to SABA-DC's mission or pertain to an issue of interest to the South Asian legal community.

    The focus of our September TiE Tuesday is cyber security, with our guest speaker, Anup Ghosh.  Join us to hear the story of Invincea, from inception through to its successful acquisition earlier this year by Sophos, a global leader in network and endpoint security.  

    Anup Ghosh, Ph.D., is Founder and CEO at Invinvea, and has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles in cyber security journals.  He is a frequent on-air contributor to CNN, CNBC, NPR and Bloomberg TV.  A number of major media outlets carry his commentaries on cyber security isslues, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, Associated Press, FoxNews and USA Today.

    Ghosh has served on the Naval Studies Board and the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board, informing the future of American cyber-defenses.
