South Asian Reflections on the Armed Forces:
A Joint Service Perspective
Please join SABA-DC and SABA-North America's Military Law Section for a discussion with experienced Military Lawyers/ Officers from the U.S Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Marine Corps Reserve. South Asians have served in the U.S. Armed forces since at least WWI. However, the story of South Asian American Military service is not often highlighted. This unique panel discussion will offer insights into the experiences of several South Asian Judge Advocates who are in different branches of the Armed Services and are at different stages of their respective Military Careers. Our panelists will provide insights into the practice of law as a Military Lawyer and offer reflections on contemporary Military Service as a South Asian American Attorney.
