SABA-DC and its Mentorship Committee invite you to join us for our Fall networking mixer on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 6:00-9:00 pm at OYA. SABA-DC expanded its Mentorship Program this year so that law students, as well as attorneys of all levels of experience, practice areas and sectors can receive the mentorship they need. We expanded the scope of the program in recognition of the fact that mentoring is a continuing need as attorneys progress through their careers, approach partnership, develop clients, and consider career changes. The large number of lawyers entering the practice every year, the rapid pace of change, clients' understandable demand for knowledgeable counsel even at the most junior level, and the growing diversity of the profession make mentoring more important than it has ever been to the development and success of lawyers. The program is accepting junior and senior attorneys to participate as mentees, and will pair them up with mentors that can address their specific questions and interests. If you are interested in participating as either a mentor or a mentee (or both), we especially encourage you to attend. Registration forms for the Mentorship Program will be available. We look forward to seeing you there!
Cost: Free for SABA-DC Members and Students, $5 for Non-members Date: September 25, 2014 Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Light appetizers will be served.
