Women's History Month - Women's Committee Event
An Evening of Mindfulness & Vision Boarding

Come enjoy an evening where all you need to do is quiet your mind, relax, and engage in a little self-reflection.  Shejal Desai Carpenter, a business woman, lawyer, and yoga practitioner will be guiding us through the evening.  We will enjoy time together practicing some simple stretches, breathing exercises, and a guided short meditation.  Our evening will then turn to creating our personal vision board.   No prior yoga or meditation experience is required.  Dinner will be provided.  Comfortable attire is highly recommended.

Shejal is an attorney and business professional with a diverse set of corporate, legal, and non-profit experiences.  She is a new mom to a wonderful 16-month old, and she works part-time in commercial real estate.  In addition, Shejal is a certified yoga instructor (RYT- 200), and she enjoys sharing her passion for yoga and its wonderful benefits through private instruction.  Shejal and her family (including her beloved dog, May) live in Alexandria and enjoy being active in their community.
