Virtual Networking in the Time of COVID-19

Please join SABA's South Asian Women's Attorney Network (SAWAN), SABAC, SABA-DC, SABA-NorCal, SABANY, SABA Saint Louis, and SABA Toronto for a Webinar with Lourdes Olvera-Marshall on virtual networking. This webinar will cover how to network virtually, grow your social capital, and unlock the power of having a strong group of professionals around you who can help you advance your career, solve a problem, and grow your business. You will learn techniques for building and fostering powerful professional relationships even when you can only do so virtually. It will include how to network as an introvert, extrovert, and ambivert. By the end of the webinar, you will have new strategies, methods, and a plan to get your networking off the ground!

A prolific speaker, Lourdes has presented in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Mexico City to such diverse organizations as Columbia University, Hispanic National Bar, South Asian Bar Association, and for the U.S. Senate staff members at Capitol Hill. These presentations have addressed a range of issues, including diversity & inclusion, leadership, networking, salary negotiation, and career strategies. As a coach and consultant, her practice includes career strategies, leadership, organizational effectiveness, and business crisis management. Her NYU classes include Networking Effectively, Leading with Diversity & Inclusion, and How to Gain Influence in the Workplace. Olvera-Marshall holds two law degrees, one from Mexico with honors (ITAM), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from NYU School of Law; she also holds a degree in Organizational and Executive Coaching, and a Communication Skills certificate, both from NYU. In addition, she has studies from Harvard, Cornell, and Complutense, Spain. She also holds a culinary degree, Cordon D’Or.
