The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement in Washington, DC is seeking to hire talented and committed attorneys interested in complex and challenging work
to help the Division carry out its primary mission of protecting investors and U.S. markets.
Enforcement staff attorneys are responsible for conducting investigations dealing with difficult and complex matters involving all aspects of the securities market. Typical duties include:
➤ developing investigative or litigation plans;
➤ drafting subpoenas and requests for documents, and questioning witnesses through interviews, testimony, or depositions;
➤ evaluating evidence to demonstrate whether sufficient evidence exists to prove violations of federal securities laws;
➤ participating in all aspects of litigation in federal court and administrative proceedings.
