Tuesday, March 16, 2021 9:43 AM | SABA DC Communications (Administrator)

The Office of General Counsel within the Department of Health & Human Services is hiring for a general attorney in its Children, Families, and Aging Division (CFAD). CFAD attorneys provide legal counsel and litigation support to the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and the Administration for Community Living (ACL) within HHS. The attorney would primarily provide litigation support and advice to ACF on issues related to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Unaccompanied Children’s Program. The attorney may also work on other matters involving ACF and ACL, including advice and counsel on the administration of grants and cooperative agreements, administrative law, and other applicable legal authorities. The attorney also will represent ORR (and possibly other components of ACL and ACF) in appeal proceedings before the Departmental Appeals Board.
