Attorney Adviser (Intellectual Property Rights)- Commerce, International Trade Administration
This position is located in the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi-India. The incumbent will serve as an Intellectual Property Attorney-Adviser (IP Attaché) in New Delhi for the International Trade Administration/Global Markets (ITA/GM) and United States Patent and Trademark office. The position requires a law degree and knowledge of all fields of IPR and international agreements governing IPR, including IPR office operation and administration, IPR training, and adherence to IPR standards of protection and enforcement. As an IP Attaché, the incumbent will act as a resource on South Asian intellectual property regime for other U.S. Government agencies. This position reports to the Senior Commercial Officer and the IP Attaché Program Director, and must also coordinate with other parts of the U.S. Embassy.
