Duties include conducting intake interviews, converting prospects into clients, preparing demand letters, negotiating with insurance companies and, most importantly, comforting seriously injured and distressed clients.

Candidates must be personable, street smart, entrepreneurial, and have a willingness to manage others as well as act autonomously. The ideal candidate will have a background in personal injury, but attorneys who have done workers comp, health insurance law, family law, or even former prosecutors will be considered.

SPANISH LANGUAGE FLUENCY IS REQUIRED. Candidates who lack Spanish language skills will not be considered.

The attorney should be barred in Maryland, but those who are willing to sit for the Maryland Bar should still apply.

The firm has a reasonable billable hour requirement, offers competitive compensation, and even gives an origination bonus for generating new business. Because the firm wants people to stay for the long term and make partner, associates will be taught business development, and will be invited to meetings and mixers with actual and potential clients.
