The Legal Counsel for the Elderly is looking for a Manager and Legal Aid Attorney to oversee project which identifies and develops high volume of cases and projects of a systemic nature and markets them to law firms on a pro bono basis. Monitors same providing timely accurate information, legal advice, guidance and technical assistance on these matters running a full range of civil legal matters. Ensures expenses do not exceed available resources. Manages assigned fundraising, outreach, and administrative efforts, especially pertaining to grant proposals, internal and external reports, and related coordination for the unit.

Completion of a Juris Doctorate degree, a member in good standing of the D.C. Bar and 5 years of directly related legal experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the duties of the position.
