Patent & Trademark prosecution boutique located in Columbia, Maryland is seeking a registered patent attorney with 2-4 years of patent & trademark preparation and prosecution experience. The successful candidate must have experience with the following: review invention disclosures, conduct prior art searches, interview inventors, prepare full patent applications and drawings, and prosecute applications including examiner interviews, amendments, and appeal briefs. Experience with trademark prosecution including oppositions and cancellations as well as client counseling including preparing opinions is desirable. Candidates should have experience working on electrical, computer, mechanical, and material science technologies. USPTO registration is required. Efficient and high quality work product is an absolute necessity.
